HONORING OUR VETERANS

Veteran Services

At Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes, as part of honoring your loved one’s service and hope in alleviating the burden felt during a loved one’s passing we assist in preparing the necessary paperwork for government markers, Presidential Memorial Certificate, and other veteran benefits.

Military honors are available to all veterans regardless of rank or location of burial who have received an honorable discharge. At the time of death, our funeral directors will work with your family to arrange for the Military Honors that best honor your loved one. We will call and request an active duty honor detail from your loved one’s branch of service and coordinate with a local American Legion of VFW to arrange

for the 3 volley rifle salute, playing of TAPS, and the flag folding presentation.

**A legible copy of the veteran’s DD 214 is necessary to arrange for Military Honors.
