Activities in the Community

At Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes, community involvement is at the heart of our mission. We strive to be active participants in the communities we serve, engaging in various initiatives and events to support and uplift those around us.

For the 13th consecutive year, Stockings for Soldiers has provided a taste of home to our local soldiers stationed overseas during this Holiday Season. This year, 21 boxes containing 252 stockings full of 723 POUNDS of goodies were shipped to seven soldiers deployed over the Holiday Season.

The filled Stockings were returned for shipment by many people from various businesses and the community at large. On December 8th, volunteers pictured above met at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur to package and make ready the stockings for shipment and delivery.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to the success of this program…it wouldn’t be possible without YOU!
