Warren C. Fluttrow

Warren C. Fluttrow , 86, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Parkview Hospital, Randallia in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on October 8, 1936, in Monroeville, Indiana to the late Carl L. Fluttrow and the late Zelda T. (Baker) Fluttrow.

Warren proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Warren graduated from Monroeville High School in 1955. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Monroeville. Warren served on the Monroeville Park Board; Monroeville 4 ^th of July Committee and was a Charter member of the HET Regional Club. He joined the National Hudson-Essex Terraplane Car Club in 1965 and also the Regional Hudson-Essex Terraplane Car Club in 1971 and was a member of the Dana Quarter Century Club.

He was employed at Dana Corporation as a Bill Out Inspector for 35+ years, retiring on November 19, 1990.

Warren enjoyed going to craft shows, where he made jewelry, and attended car shows.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Radcliffe and Cristy Fluttrow both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Sister, Voneta Hakes of Missoula, Montana; special friend, Darlane Deck of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nephew, Randy (Rae) Fluttrow of Monroeville, Indiana; niece, Lora (John) Suhrweier of Canada; niece, Karin of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nephew, Rich (Melinda) Fluttrow of Monroeville, Indiana; niece, Michelle Hakes of Hawaii; nephew, Kent (Tiffany) Hakes of Denver, Colorado; nephew, Greg Fluttrow of Ohio; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & Brenton Fluttrow; and companion, Rosie McCoy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Burial will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery with Military Graveside honors being rendered by the American Legion Post #420 Color Guard.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Monroeville Community Park or Monroeville Fire Department.
