Vivian Vera Wade, 92, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Heritage Point in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on January 3, 1932 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Reynold Busch and Mary (Barnes) Busch.
Vivian was united in marriage to Charles William “Bill” Wade on July 31, 1948 in Celina, Ohio. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2019.
She was a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Vivian was a Sunday school teacher and nursery worker for many years in the church.
Vivian was a loving Christian wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Ken (Carolyn) Wade of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Marilyn (Farrel) Habegger of Grabill, Indiana; two grandsons, Rev. Kenny (Debra) Wade and Christopher Wade; two granddaughters, Jenni (Rev. Dr. Scott) Rainey and Julie (Brad) Zehr; brother, Richard (Jan) Busch of Warren, Oregon; sister, Sandra (Richard) Allen of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven great-grandchildren, Emily, Parker, and Braydon Wade; Bekah and Sarah Rainey; Andrew and Allie Zehr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, located at 8611 Mayhew, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Rev. Dr. Scott Rainey and Rev. Dr. Rex Person officiating. A burial service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ossian, Indiana.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday.
