Suzann Call

Suzann Call, 80, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1944, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Perry Werst and Lucille (Jackson) Werst.

Sue was united in marriage to the late Von Call on June 26, 1965, in Decatur, Indiana.

She was a devoted member of Praise Point Church in Willshire, Ohio, where she was a part of the Care and Share Ministry and the 49 Alive Ministry.

Sue attended Parkway High School in Rockford, Ohio, where she was a part of the first graduating class of 1962. She worked as a customer service representative for Dolco Packaging in Decatur, Indiana, for many years and retired in 2007.

Sue enjoyed traveling with her friends, especially on bus trips. She loved going to garage sales with her friends. She appreciated the memories created by spending time with her grandkids. She valued relationships established and strengthened with her family and friends which often were spent with dinners or other activities.

Sue is survived by her son, Scott (Deb) Call of Rockford, Ohio; son, Brooks (Tina) Call of Rockford, Ohio; daughter, Tiffany (Mike DiCillo) Lewis of Brook Park, Ohio; brother, Richard (Rita) Werst of Celina, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Elly Long, Jordan Feldes, and Ocean, Quinn, Keagan, Giovanna, and Rowan DiCillo.

Along with her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother, James Werst.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Praise Point Church in Willshire, Ohio, with Pastor Brandon Baker officiating.

Friends and family will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana, and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials may be given to Praise Point Church.
