Susan P. Guerra

Susan P. Guerra, 64, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 12, 2023, at her residence in Decatur.

She was born on August 20, 1958 to the late Paul Heiser and Waltraud “Cherie” (Schlag) Combs.

Susan was a homemaker.

She is survived by her mother, Cheri Combs of Sturgis, Michigan; two daughters, Christina Miller and Jennifer (Josh) Johnston both of Decatur, Indiana; son, Orion (Caitlin) Guerra of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Tony (Christine) Heiser of Burr Oak, Michigan; and seven grandchildren, Juliana & Grant Gappens; Jillian Roth, Brielle Miller & Ethan Miller; Josalynn Johnston, and  Jace Guerra.

She was preceded in death by a son, Julian Guerra.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor Harold Klinker officiating. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
