Sheila Sue Putteet

Sheila Sue Putteet, 64, of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019; at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born on January 7, 1955, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Clifford Kiefer and the late Margaret (Scheumann) Kiefer.

Sheila was a member at Zion Lutheran Church – Friedheim.

She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and attending shows with “the girls”. She also enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Greg, taking trips on his motorcycle, and trying new restaurants.

Sheila is survived by a daughter, Sabrina (Ryan) Krick of Decatur, Indiana; son, Jason (April) Putteet of Lubbock, Texas; son, Christopher (Nicole) Putteet of Decatur, Indiana; boyfriend, Greg Smith of Geneva, Indiana; brother, Kent (Shelly) Kiefer of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Gerry (Joy) Keifer of O’Fallon, Missouri; sister, Patricia (Jeff) Strickler of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Betty (Sean) Sielschott of Decatur, Indiana; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Delvin Kiefer and a sister in infancy.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church – Friedheim with Pastor Daniel Dahling officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery – Friedheim.

Family and friends will be received from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Hospice, or Zion Lutheran Church – Friedheim.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Zwick & Jahn Funeral Homes in Decatur, Indiana.
