Sally A. Huebner

Sally A. Huebner, 90, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne.

She was born on November 21, 1934 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Loyd and Ferol (Fortney) VanBuskirk.

Sally was united in marriage to Burton C. Huebner on June 30, 1956 at Monroeville United Methodist Church in Monroeville, Indiana and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2011.

She was a member of Monroeville United Methodist Church in Monroeville. Sally served as the secretary for the church, and she was a part of the Women’s Society and choir. She was also a member of the Monroeville Community Choir and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Sally was a Secretary at Lincoln Life Insurance Company.

Sally was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved reading and instilling the love of music with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jayne A. (Gregory) Staight of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, John B. (Jeffrey) Huebner of Fletcher, North Carolina; son, Joel B. (Rhonda) Huebner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Amanda Staight, Chelsea Klein, Alisha Huebner, Chantelle Ramirez, Luke Huebner, Joshua Huebner, and Josh Walker; and four great-grandchildren, Lillian, Andrew, Amelia, and Clara

Sally was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel VanBuskirk.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Monroeville United Methodist Church in Monroeville, Indiana, with Reverend Michael Roeske officiating. Burial will follow in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Monroeville United Methodist Church, Monroeville, Indiana. The Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on March 26.
