Ruby M. Young

Ruby M. Young, 84, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 13, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on December 7, 1939, in Randolph County, Indiana to the late Virgil Arnold and the late Helen (Starr) Arnold. She was united in marriage to Darrell J. Young on June 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1982.

Ruby served her family as a faithful homemaker.

She is survived by her son, David Wayne Young of Monroeville, Indiana; and daughter, Rebecca Kay Young of Monroeville, Indiana.

Ruby was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Alan Young.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana with Pastor Benjamin Lehew officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
