Rose M. Lovellette

Rose M. Lovellette, 85, of Ossian, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on March 17, 1939, in Monroeville, Indiana to the late Harry and the late Pearl M. (Fuelling) Lovellette.

She attended Calvary Temple in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Rose was a homemaker

Rose was a kind soul who lived a simple life. She enjoyed helping taking care of her family.

Survivors include two brothers, Donald Lovellette of Syracuse, Indiana and Ronald “Butch” (Patricia) Lovellette of Roanoke, Indiana; two sisters, Jannetta "Susie" Nuttle of Ossian, Indiana and Bonnie Dabbs of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, James & Robert Lovellette; two sisters, Bernette “Sally” Dunham and Patricia Lovellete; two sisters-in-law, Nell and Patricia Lovellette; two brothers-in-law, John Nuttle and John Dabbs.

A funeral service for Rose will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Decatur with Pastor Anita Carvajal officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Monroeville Memorial Cemetery, Monroeville, Indiana.

Friends and family will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Decatur and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
