Roger L. Krick

Roger L. Krick, 87, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur.

He was born on May 29, 1935, in Decatur, Indiana to the late George Krick and Malinda (Gause) Krick.

Roger was united in marriage to Gloria J. Counterman on June 4, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur, Indiana.  She preceded him in death on January 30, 2007.

He retired from Dolco Packaging Corporation as a Warehouse Specialist for 29 years.

Roger enjoyed cruising around in the evenings with his wife, Gloria. He also enjoyed tinkering around in the garage avoiding the honey-do list.

Roger is survived by two sons, Daniel (Julie Davison) Krick of Decatur, Indiana, and Randy (Lori) Krick of Decatur, Indiana; three Grandchildren, Tyler, Tessa and Tanner Hart; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (Neal) Hart; three grandsons, Ronnie, Zack and Taylor Krick; four brothers, Herman, Doyle, Hubert and Larry Krick; three sisters, Dorothy Sudduth, Eileen Garwood and Helen Hawkins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Klinker officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to ACCF – Angel Cancer Fund.
