Phyllis J. Dunham, 88, of Berne, Indiana passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2020, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
She was born on March 9, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Clarence and Evelyn (Walty) Rosell.
She married Rodney Dunham on August 10, 1952 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2018.
She was a member of the Garrett United Methodist Church in Garrett, Indiana where she had been involved in the choir.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed tatting and was an avid Purdue basketball and football fan. She was also a Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts fan.
She was survived by three sons, Robert (Vivian Lemmon) Dunham of Decatur, Indiana, William (Teddi) Dunham of Waukegan, Illinois, and Daniel (Babette) Dunham of Athens, Texas; ten grandchildren, Lorena (Dustin) Myers, Kaitlyn Dunham, Sian McDonald, Bradley (Mindy) Allen, Matthew (Shannon) Allen, Leslie Dunham, Richard Dunham, Amanda (Travis) Frevert, Krista (Blake) Lannom, and Karley (David) Woodrich; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ritchie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Preferred memorials are to Parkinson’s Foundation.
