Pauline Dick, 91, of Fort Wayne Indiana passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 22, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
She was born on November 18, 1927 in Adams County, Indiana to the late Arthur L. Mitchel and the late Marie (Wable) Mitchel. Pauline married Clarence V. Dick on May 31, 1947 in Nashville, Indiana and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2008.
She was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne and a former member of Monroe United Methodist Church in Monroe, Indiana. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women. Pauline enjoyed participating in the Thursday morning Bible study group and Maxine Coleman Circle. Pauline’s hobbies included puzzles, word searches, reading, sewing, cooking, baking, and craft projects.
She was a homemaker and had also worked at Walmart in Decatur from 1994 to 2008.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Johnston of Fort Wayne; son, Kevin (Jennifer) Dick of Decatur; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a step-son, Bill Dick and step-daughter, Carol Stimson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at St. Joseph United Methodist Church located at 6004 Reed Road in Fort Wayne with Pastor Russ Abel officiating. Family & friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church on Saturday prior to the service.
Preferred memorials are to St. Joseph United Methodist Church.
