Patricia A Myers

Patricia A. Myers, 81, of Decatur, Indiana, formerly of Berne, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur, Indiana.

She was born on July 9, 1942 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Herman Myers and the late Frances (Colter) Myers.

Patricia was a member of First Mennonite Church in Berne, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years.  She was also a member and a Sunday School teacher at the Willshire United Methodist Church.

Patricia graduated from Willshire High School in 1960, and continued her education at Cleveland Junior College.  She worked in the medical records department at Caylor Nickel Clinic for 12 years and at Jay County Hospital for 10 years.

Survivors include her brother, John W. (Janet) Myers of Willshire, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Sharon Myers of Lima, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene C. Myers in 2003 and James R. Myers in 2014, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Myers.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana, with Pastor Jim Schwartz officiating.  Burial will follow in Willshire Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana.

Preferred memorials can be given to First Mennonite Church Missions.
