Pamela Rose “Pam” Noonan, 79, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur.
She was born on October 27, 1943 in Lima, Ohio to Harold and Lillian (Schwartz) Mumaw. Pam was united in marriage to Michael P. “Mick” Noonan on October 19, 1963, at St. John Catholic Church in Delphos, Ohio.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur.
Pam graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School in 1961. She enjoyed her time being a cook at Bellmont Middle School, retiring in 2007. Prior to being a cook at Bellmont, she was employed at Adams Memorial Hospital and Preble Gardens.
Along with her husband, Mike, she loved the time spent traveling the United States and camping. She baked tremendous cream pies…which the students and teachers loved at school! Pam also was a gifted craft maker. She truly loved cooking and baking for her children, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Michael “Mick” Noonan of Decatur, Indiana; son, Michael W. (Deb) Noonan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Bosch of Decatur, Indiana; son, Richard Noonan of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Candice (Robert C.) Keuneke of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Jackie (George) Osting of Delphos, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joyce Mumaw of Hilton Head, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, Ryan Noonan, Robin Dock, Eric Noonan, Derek Loshe, Trista Bosch, Maci Bosch, Jennah Noonan, Kolton Noonan, Kylee Pearson and Bobby Keuneke; and 16 great-grandchildren with two on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Mumaw, daughter, Michelle Noonan and a great-granddaughter, Nora Keuneke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father David A. Ruppert officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Decatur.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to A.C.C.F. – Dementia or Adams Woodcrest for Dementia Unit.
