Nicholas D. “Nick” Miller, 62, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on July 6, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana and two years later adopted by the late John O. Miller and the late Alice (Eisenhower) Miller. Nick was united in marriage to Marcia Clem on April 24, 1976, at First United Methodist Church in Decatur, Indiana.
He was employed at Decatur Casting for 23 years before its closing.
Nick was always tinkering with things, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and caring for his dogs. He was a huge Redskins fan.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Marcia Miller of Decatur, Indiana; two daughters, Koral (Scott) McClurg and Elizabeth Miller both of Decatur, Indiana; one granddaughter, Dakota Miller of Decatur, Indiana; two grandsons, Joseph McClurg of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Pierce Clott of Portland, Indiana; two great-grandkids, Grayson & Brooklynn Hittle of Decatur, Indiana; and his therapy dog, Bailey Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Christine Miller; and a brother, James Miller.
Friends will be received from 3-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur with a limit of 25 people being able to enter the funeral home at one time. The family requests that everyone MUST wear a facemask.
Due to guidelines established by the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home – Decatur. You are invited to visit and “like” the Facebook page for Zwick & Jahn where a video will be posted of his service.
Preferred memorials can be given to the Fort Wayne Cancer Society.
