Neal J. Rorick

Neal J. Rorick, 62, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, while farming on his family farm in New Haven, Indiana.

He was born on September 15, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Arnold A. Rorick and the late Alma L. (Freiburger) Rorick.

Neal was united in marriage to Nicole Grice on December 6, 2002, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was a member of the NRA.

Neal was employed with Ultra in Columbia City, and was a lifelong farmer on his family’s farm.

Neal loved his family and especially his girls. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and you could happily find him napping with is grandkids. He didn’t know a stranger, was known as a jokester, and was loved by many.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Rorick of Monroeville, Indiana; five daughters, Jennie (James) Shutt of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Lindsie Molthan of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Leah (Robert) Cross of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gabby Rorick of Monroeville, Indiana, and Chloe Rorick of Monroeville, Indiana; four brothers, Mark Rorick of Seymour, Indiana, Max (Doreene) Rorick of Fort Wayne, Indiana, George (Sharon) Rorick  of Monroeville, Indiana, and Arnie (Carol) Rorick of New Haven, Indiana; four sisters, Juanita (Lyle) Kern of New Haven, Indiana, Emilie (George) Uhrick of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Suzy (Steve) Smith of Monroeville, Indiana, and Marcy (Tom) Minnich of Monroeville, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Kalin and Martin Shutt; Gus Molthan; and Addison and Rowan Cross.

Neal was preceded in death by brother, Frank Rorick; and infant children, Charles & Rachael Rorick.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana with Pastor Todd Buckmaster officiating.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Homes, Jacobs Chapel of Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the family checks payable to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
