Myrna L. Tumbleson

Myrna L. Tumbleson, 87, of Berne, Indiana passed away Sunday evening, January 21, 2024, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur, Indiana.

She was born on September 20, 1936, at home in Geneva, Indiana to the late Arthur Franklin “Jack” Weaver and the late Dorothy May (Brewster) Weaver. She married Roland L. Tumbleson on August 31, 1957, at Mt. Carmel Church in Berne, Indiana and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2002.

Myrna was a member of Mt. Hope Nazarene Church in Berne, Indiana.

She was a waitress at Parkway Restaurant in Berne, Indiana for many years. Myrna spent many years raising her family and keeping a perfect house.

Myrna is survived by her son, David (Deb) Tumbleson of Geneva, Indiana; daughter, Pamela (Mark) Werst of Berne, Indiana; daughter, Kimberly (John) Neuenschwander of Keystone, Indiana; son, Philip (Amy) Tumbleson of Berne, Indiana; brother, Wayne Jeanne Weaver of Geneva, Indiana; sister, Gloria (Delmer) Orme of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Stanley (Karen) Weaver of Geneva, Indiana; brother, Tex (Ceann) Weaver of Berne, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Myrna was preceded in death by two grandsons; one granddaughter; and her sister, Phyllis.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana with Pastor David Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Preferred memorials can be given to ACCF – Alzheimer’s Fund.
