Melonie Stevens

Melonie Stevens, 56, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on February 6, 1966 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Charles “Bill” Golliff and Zelna “Sally” (Brunner) Golliff.

Melonie was united in marriage to Earl Stevens in November of 1987 in Decatur, Indiana.

She previously worked at Sonshine Daycare in Decatur for several years.

She loved spending time with her family especially her children and her pets as she lovingly referred to them as her fur babies. She had a love of apples, and unicorns.

Melonie is survived by her husband, Earl Stevens of Decatur, Indiana; two daughters, Kaitlyn Stevens and Kaila Stevens both of Decatur, Indiana; and a sister, Marilyn (Doug) Boggs of Portland, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

Melonie was preceded in death by her son in infancy, Kaiden Stevens; and a sister, Marlene Clem.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Life Celebrant Dave McIntire officiating. Burial will take place at Salem Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.

Preferred memorials are to the family (checks payable to Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home).
