Mary Ann Lindsey

Mary Ann Lindsey, 75, of Bryant, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

She was born on August 5, 1947, in Adams County, Indiana to the late Frederick J. and Gretchen N. (Winans) Duff.

Mary Ann was united in marriage to David R. Lindsey on March 14, 1970, at Linn Grove Church in Linn Grove, Indiana.

She started her education at Hartford School and finished her high school career at Geneva High School. She retired in 2013 from Liechty Brothers Plumbing in Berne. Prior to that she worked for CTS in Berne.

Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending Tractor Shows with her husband and son. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family gardening.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, David Lindsey of Bryant, Indiana; son, Aaron (Mindy) Lindsey of Geneva, Indiana; sister, Jane Sickman of Fairborn, Ohio; two grandchildren, Gretchen and Gracelyn Lindsey.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Larry L. Duff.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana with Pastor Rick Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Linn Grove.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial can be made to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.
