Marjorie E. DeBolt

Marjorie E. DeBolt, 99, of Markle, Indiana passed away on Friday morning, November 22, 2024, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on September 26, 1925, in Wren, Ohio to the late Raymond Orville and Elsie Mae (Miller) LaBrun. She was united in marriage to Gerald E. DeBolt in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2001. 

She graduated from Wren High School class of 1943. Marjorie was a member of the Markle Church of Christ in Markle, Indiana. 

Marjorie was employed at International Harvester for 30 years before her retirement in 1981. 

She enjoyed bowling and playing euchre. Marjorie enjoyed farming for 69 years and in her free time enjoyed fishing. 

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Tonya (Terry) Johnson of Huntington, Indiana; son, Eugene DeBolt of Markle, Indiana; son, Gary Myers of Decatur, Indiana; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard LaBrun.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana with Pastor Gerald Mooreland officiating. Burial will follow in Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville, Indiana.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

Preferred memorials can be given to Markle Church of Christ.
