Lynne M. Whitman

Lynne M. Whitman, 61, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Thursday evening, July 4, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on January 21, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Bobby and Carol (Boyd) Duchine.  On May 1, 1981, she married Phillip Whitman in Allen County, Indiana.

Lynne was a 1980 graduate of Paul Harding High School and attended both Ivy Tech and IPFW in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was employed by East Allen County Schools as a paraprofessional for 27 years.

Lynne enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Whitman of Monroeville, Indiana; daughter, Jessica Dennis of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sons, Zachariah (Jessica) Whitman and Wesley (Sarah) Whitman, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Lyric Whitman, Taylor Snyder, Dylan Henricks, Emma Hendricks, Jack Voirol, Jess Voirol Jr., and Charlie Voirol; and two great-grandchildren, Avery and Eliana Snyder.

Private Family services will be held.

Memorials in Lynne’s name can be given to the Humane Society of Fort Wayne.
