Lydiann N. Miller

Lydiann N. Miller, 77, of Monroe, Indiana passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 21, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 29, 1946, in Monroe, Indiana to the late Noah R. and Mary E. (Hilty) Schwartz.  On June 20, 1965, she married Emanuel L. Miller in Monroe, Indiana.

Lydiann was a member of the Old Order Amish and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Emanuel L. Miller of Monroe, Indiana; son, Marcus M. (Rachel) Miller of Connersville, Indiana; daughter, Mary M. (Jerome) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; son, Matthew M. Miller of Monroe, Indiana; son, Levi M. (Elizabeth) Miller of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Rosie M. (Mahlon) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; daughter, Martha M. (Jake H.) Schwartz of Berne, Indiana; son, Noah M. (Maryann) Miller of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Christine M. (Joseph) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; son, Joe M. (Martha) Miller of Monroe, Indiana; son, Elmer M. (Barbara) Miller of Cambridge City, Indiana; son, Emanuel M. (Elma) Miller of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Lydiann M. (Leroy) Wickey of Monroe, Indiana; daughter, Susann M. (Mervin) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; son, John M. (Verena) Miller of Monroe, Indiana; son, Enos M. (Rose) Miller of Howe, Indiana; daughter, Elizabeth M. (Amos) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; brother, John N. (Susan) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; sister, Rosie N. (Levi) Girod of Monroe, Indiana; sister, Elizabeth N. (Menno) Hilty of North Manchester, Indiana; brother, Samuel N. (Elizabeth) Schwartz of Berne, Indiana; brother, Joe N. (Susie) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; sister, Mary N. (James) Schwartz of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Noah N. (Diana) Schwartz, Jr. of Monroe, Indiana; brother, Menno N.M. (Susan) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; brother, Ruben N. (Elma) Schwartz of Monroe, Indiana; 121 grandchildren; and 70 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma N. Wickey; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Emanuel L. Miller Residence, 2760 S 200 E, Monroe, IN 46772 with Bishop John N. Schwartz officiating.  Burial will follow at Schwartz Cemetery in Berne, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Emanuel L. Miller Residence.
