Lauretta E. Bodle, 67, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Wednesday evening, August 19, 2020, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on September 3, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to Donald R. and Shirley (Weyandt) Crone.
Lauretta was a 1971 graduate of Woodmore High School in Elmore, Ohio. She had worked as a manager at the Linger Inn Motel in Bluffton, Indiana and was also a long-time waitress for several restaurants.
Lauretta liked adult coloring and had really enjoyed camping and fishing when she was younger.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela M. (Robert) Weiland of Decatur, Indiana; two sons, James E. Bodle of Decatur, Indiana and Matthew C. Bodle of New Castle, Indiana; mother, Shirley Crone of Woodville, Ohio; two brothers, Thomas (Janice) Crone of Gibsonburg, Ohio and Tracy (Katie) Crone of Garrett, Indiana; four sisters, Stephanie Fryman and Rhonda (Jeffery) Cuevas both of Genoa, Ohio along with JanElla Lyn Evans and Cathryn Bodle both of Decatur, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Wade R. Crone, Shane K. Garrett, Dakota A. Weiland, Joanna E. Bodle, and Ethan D. Bodle.
Lauretta was preceded in death by her father and two brothers-in-law, David Fryman and Gary Bodle.
According to Lauretta’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice.
