Larry D. Peckham

Larry D. Peckham, 88, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Adams Heritage.

He was born on August 23, 1936, in Monroeville, Indiana to the late Donald Peckham and Ella (Mumma) Peckham.

Larry was united in marriage to Jennifer Stallbaum on June 6, 1970, at Monroeville United Methodist Church in Monroeville.

He was a member of Monroeville United Methodist Church, Monroeville Lions Club, Masonic Lodge in Monroeville, and the Scottish Rite.

Larry enjoyed playing golf, he also was a very good bowler, bowling a 300 game back in the 1960’s.  Larry loved his grandsons dearly and was a lifelong fan of Detroit Tiger's baseball.

He was employed at North American Van Lines for over 40 years, where he managed the print department.  Larry also served on the Town Board in Monroeville, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Peckham of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Christopher (Katy) Peckham of Roanoke, Indiana; son, Stuart Peckham of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Linda (Eli) Samaan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two grandsons, Wesley and Connor Peckham both of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Larry was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, Richard and Terry (his twin) Peckham.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are Donor’s Choice.
