Kenneth L. Vore

Kenneth L. Vore, 77, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Friday afternoon, October 11, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on January 13, 1947, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Donald E. and Claudine G. (Mann) Vore. Ken was united in marriage to Shirley Cummings and she passed away in 1998. He was later married to Sue Sims on October 9, 1999, in Decatur, Indiana.

Ken was member of the St. Mary Bluecreek Conservation Club.

He was employed for over 20 years at A.T. Ferral.

Ken was talented at woodworking. Ken also had a love for hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Vore of Decatur, Indiana; son, Rod (Tina) Vore of Decatur, Indiana; step-son, Roger Sims of Hartford City, Indiana; step-daughter, Susie (Jay) Tipton of Fort Wayne, Indiana; step-daughter, Laurie Howard of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Delilah Snyder of Decatur, Indiana; brother, John (Joyce) Drake of Decatur, Indiana; six grandchildren, Macey Vore, Shaley Vore, Amanda Howard, Isabelle Sims, Jennifer Tipton, and Coletin Short; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Hedrick, and Cagan Carr.

Ken was preceded in death by four children infancy; sister, Linda Drake; and two brothers, Tommy Vore and Richard Brown.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.

Preferred memorials can be given to the St. Mary Bluecreek Conservation Club.
