Kathy D. Bruner

Kathy D. Bruner, 58, of Berne, Indiana passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, at her residence in Berne.

She was born on October 26, 1960 in Marion, Indiana to William Wallace. Kathy Was united in marriage to Michael Wayne Bruner in May of 1979.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Berne, Indiana.

Kathy was employed at Branding Iron Restaurant in Bluffton. She also was employed at Bluffton Rubber and Kitco.

She loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Wayne Bruner of Berne; daughter, Amber Bruner of Berne; son, Harley W. “Travis” Bruner of Berne; daughter, Crystal Swygart of Pennsylvania; two brothers, William (Bridget) Wallace Jr. and Ralph Wallace both of Upland, Indiana; and six grandchildren, Isaiah Swygart, Haley Bruner, Marik Barnett, Ash Barton, Sky Barton, and Justice Barton.

She is preceded in death by sister, Joan Wallace in infancy.

A joint memorial service for both Mike and Kathy Bruner will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the M.R.E Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Russell Fuhrmann and Rev. Don Sauls officiating. Burial of Mike and Kathy will immediately follow the memorial service.
