Katherine M. Cutler

Katherine M. Cutler, 75, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away on early Friday morning, August 25, 2023, at Adams Heritage.

She was born on September 24, 1947 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Ralph and M. Marie (Miller) Hilbig.

Katherine graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1964. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen.

She worked as a Data Entry Operator for United States Postal Service in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania before her retirement.

Before Katherine’s stroke, she enjoyed needlepoint, listening to audio books, and playing BINGO.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Cutler of Boyton Beach, Florida; brother, Ralph “Dean” Hilbig of Angola, Indiana; sister, Claudia O’Shaughnessey of Monroeville, Indiana; and granddaughter, Karris Hernandes.

She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Cutler; and brother, Terry Hilbig.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen with Pastor Peter Brock officiating.   Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Bingen.

Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Preferred memorials are to the family (checks payable to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home).
