Julia Louise Webster-Rigsby, 62, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on March 30, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Robert Nathan Webster and Nancy Lou (Gordon) Webster.
Julia was united in marriage to Henry Victor “Vic” Rigsby on July 4, 2009, at Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2019.
She graduated from Heritage High School Class of 1978. Julia was a member of the American Legion Post #420 Auxiliary in Monroeville since 1962 and St. Joe Athletic Club in Fort Wayne.
Julia was a Sales representative for Shambaugh & Sons before retiring after 15 years of service. Prior to working at Shambaugh and Son’s, Julia was also employed by G.W. Berkheimer Wholesale.
Julia enjoyed fishing and lake life with Vic. She also treasured the time spent with her brothers and friends.
She is survived by two brothers, Mark (Kim) Webster of Antwerp, Ohio and Randy (Jill) Webster of New Haven, Indiana; and a step-son, Stephen Rigsby of Kyle, Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville with Chaplain Karen Kosberg officiating. Burial will follow at Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, in Monroeville and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Parkview Hospice or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements are by the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana.
