Judith Ann Rekeweg

Judith Ann Rekeweg, 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed into eternal life Monday morning, November 6, 2023, at Lutheran Life Villages Pine-Valley in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born at home on February 9, 1945, in Wells County, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Edith Arlene (Woods) Rekeweg.

Judith was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She graduated from Ossian High School and following graduation, she was a nurse’s aide at the old Lutheran Hospital on Fairfield Avenue.

In Judith’s younger years, she enjoyed baking and crocheting. She continued to enjoy crocheting and bingo at Lutheran Life Villages.

Judith is survived by her sister, Sunny “Fern” (David) Dailey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Donald Jones of Bluffton, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jones.

A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. November 10, 2023, at Concordia Cemetery Gardens Chapel, 5365 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana.

In lieu of floral gifts, preferred memorials can be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
