Guillermo Paulin

Guillermo Paulin, 93, of Berne, Indiana passed away Thursday morning, June 1, 2023, at Envive Healthcare in Berne, Indiana.

He was born on March 22, 1930, in El Pujal, San Luis Potosí, Mexico  to the late Ubaldo Paulin and the late Sylvina (Castillo) Paulin. Guillermo was united in marriage to Esperanza Cintron on January 10, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois.

Guillermo enjoyed playing guitar and learned how to play by ear. Additionally, he was an amateur poet.

He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Paulin of Berne, Indiana; son, Octavio Paulin of Orlando, Florida; son, Rogelio Paulin of Largo, Florida; son, Carlos Paulin of Grand Prairie, Texas; son, Enrique Paulin of McHenry, Illinois; daughter, Sonia McKrell of Berne, Indiana; two sisters; one brother; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Guillermo was preceded in death by a son, Guillermo Paulin Jr.

In honoring Guillermo’s wishes, no services will be held.
