Gregory Allen Cole

Gregory Allen Cole, 66, of Berne, Indiana passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on November 6, 1955 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late David G. Cole and Edith M. (McFarland) Cole, who survives.

He was a member of the Blue Creek Conservation Club and the Willshire Conservation Club.

Greg was a repairman for 30 years that worked on safes and ATM’s for Diebold.

He enjoyed gardening, canning, riding his motorcycle and target shooting. Greg was an amazing artist and photographer. He enjoyed studying his Bible. Above all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

Greg is survived by a daughter, Sara (Jason) Windsor of Ossian, Indiana; son, Isaiah (fiancé Kaylyn) Cole of Decatur, Indiana; mother, Edith Cole of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Eric (Jan) Cole of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Brent Cole of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Valerie (Jim) Badiac of Leo, Indiana; sister, Karen (Vince) Torrez of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Paul (Fiance Tina) Cole of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Harley, Quentin, Riley, Veronica, Vada, Oliver, Eliora and two on the way, Joshua and Wren.

He was preceded in death by his father, David G. Cole and a son, Ian Voirol.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Pastor Kevin Abbott officiating.

Friends and family will be received from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur.

Preferred memorials are to his Grandchildren (Checks payable to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home).
