Felipe Rodriguez-Ramos, 69, of York, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, at his daughter’s residence.
He was born on August 23, 1954, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Rodriguez and Dolores (Ramos-Sanchez) Rodriguez.
He was baptized in the Catholic Church.
Felipe was self-employed as salesman.
A man of many passions, Felipe found joy in the simplicity of life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, often sharing tales of his outdoor adventures with anyone who would listen. His love for the road was undeniable, as he found contentment in traveling and exploring new places. Felipe's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as he enjoyed selling produce, which allowed him to engage with his community and share the fruits of his labor.
He is survived by his daughter, Ciena (Michael Antoine) Werling of Ossian, Indiana; son, Cobin (Kiersten Richey) Rodriguez of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Ciera Rodriguez of Ossian, Indiana; mother of his children, Deborah Cole of Decatur, Indiana; mother-in-law, Lucille Cole of Decatur, Indiana. Felipe held a special place in his heart for Nicholas Palomino of New York, New York, whom he considered "like a son.". He has three grandchildren, Micole Klausing, Lucas Werling, and Arrya Antoine, he is survived by several brothers and sisters, nephews, George Spanakis and Aristidis Spanakis, two best friends, Abraham Eldessouky and Anastasios Mastakouris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers.
A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Mt. Rose Cemetery in York, Pennsylvania.
Preferred memorials are to ACCF – Angel Fund, Cancer.
