February 22, 1922 - March 16, 2018

Emma "Jane" Steiner, 96, Geneva, passed on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center, Ossian, IN. She was born to Sylvan and Mary Lehman Sprunger on February 22. 1922 in Adams County, IN. She married Willard Steiner on April 16, 1943.

Jane was a homemaker and an active member of the West Missionary Church. She was a Sunday School teacher, Superintendent of the Children's Department, and taught Bible School. She taught piano lessons for 45 years. Her interests included; gardening, cooking,  and sending letters to her family. Jane loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren..

Survivors include four daughters; Ann Steiner of Geneva, Vickie Bronner of Dallas, TX., Cindy(Steve)Maller of Bluffton, Lori(Jerry)Ashton of Ft. Wayne, ;one son, Bill(Janet)Steiner of Saukville, WI., 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Preceding in death is her husband, brothers; Jerry and Ernest Sprunger, sisters; Josephine Myers. and Shirley Fruechte.

Funeral services are Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:30 am at the West Missionary Church with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Visitation also Friday, March 23 from 2 to 7 pm at the Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Officiating is Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery, Berne
