Elois J. (Brewster) Perry Wilson, 89, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and previously of Geneva, Indiana and past resident of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2023 at Kingston Manor in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on May 11, 1933 in Linn Grove, Indiana to the late Jacob (J.E.) Edward Brewster and the late Dora (Klopfenstein) Brewster.
Elois married Robert Perry in Bluffton, Indiana on July 1, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1978. She married Charles (Chick) Wilson in July of 1978 in Keystone, Indiana and he preceded her in death in April 2000.
She was active as a Wren Volunteer EMT from 1972 to 1978. She was a former member of the Son Light Wesleyan Church in Bluffton, Indiana and most recently attended Rockford Belle Community Church in Rockford, Ohio.
Elois was the owner of the Wren Tavern for eight years and the owner of Rose Ladies Apparel in Bluffton, Indiana for seven years. She was employed at Franklin Electric for 27 years and served as the clerk-treasurer for Wren, Ohio for six years and for Geneva, Indiana for seven years.
Elois enjoyed collecting vintage buttons, watching birds, and spending time with her dog, Spice.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha Faye Perry of Willshire, Ohio; son, Robert Delin Perry of Fairbanks, Alaska; son, Michael Shane Perry of Decatur, Indiana; grandson, Shane (April) Perry of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; grandson, Randall (Dee Ann) Perry of Bluffton, Indiana; granddaughter, Julia (Carter) Arnold of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Elois was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Edward Brewster, Chester Orman Brewster, Anthony Henry Brewster; sisters, Pauline Dorthea Hartman, Leona Virena Rickard and Helen Lucille Morrical.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana with Dana Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Six Mile Cemetery, Wells County.
Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana.
Preferred memorials can be given to Rockford Belle Community Church
