Donna K. Aurand

Donna K. Aurand, 81, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at Adams Memorial Hospital.

She was born on December 21, 1941, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Arlo McKean and the late Margaret (Shaffer) McKean.

She was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Donna was employed at General Electric in production from 1960 until her retirement in 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn (Richard) Krueckeberg of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lisa Aurand of Decatur, Indiana; son, Brett Aurand of Delphos, Ohio; brother, Randy McKean of Decatur, Indiana; three grandchildren,  Kristin (Justin) Fisher, Kacie (Jason) Meadows, and Jacob Aurand; six great-grandchildren, Erik, Isaac, Jane, Ben, Lucas, and Addison; and several step-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary L. “Bud” McKean and Rex McKean; and beloved dog, Missy.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur with Life Celebrant Dave McIntire officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. service on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.

Preferred memorials can be given to PAWS of Adams County.
