Donald W. Brewster, 68, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
He was born on April 28, 1951 in Portland, Indiana to the late Bert Brewster and the late biological mother, Pauline (Isenhart) Brewster (she died when Don was 9 months old) and the late Marjorie Brewster, the only mother Don ever knew. Don was united in marriage to Valerie (McCandless) Edwards on December 6, 1994 in Decatur, she survives.
Don was a longtime employee as a production worker at Fleetwood. He was also a self-employed contractor. Don was a huge sports enthusiast when it came to the Colts, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting arrow heads in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Brewster of Decatur, IN; two daughters, Teresa Brewster of Fort Wayne, IN, Jessica (Brian) Stoner of Berne, IN; son, David Brewster of Decatur, IN; two step daughters; Jessica (Adam) Faurote of Decatur, IN, Cori (Ryan) Leon of Waldron, AK; four sisters; Martha (Terry) Hammons of Bluffton, IN, Sharon Kaehr of Decatur, IN, Carol (Harry) Dubach of Berne, IN, Sandy (Tracy) Lorton, of Linn Grove, IN; twin brother, Ron (Ann) Brewster of Keystone, IN; 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Randy Brewster and mother: Marjorie Brewster and brother-in-law Bernard Kaehr.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
