Diane Kay Farber

Diane K. Farber, 80, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Golden Meadows in Decatur, Indiana.

She was born on February 20, 1940 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Elwood Jackson and the late Teresa (Katzenmaier) Jackson. Diane was united in marriage to Norman C. Farber on November 28, 1959 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Diane was a homemaker and received an associate’s degree in business from Pasco Community College in Spring Hill, Florida. Her passions were knitting, quilting, horses and traveling.

She is survived by three sons; Brian N. (Deb) Farber, Grandson Charles; Kurt A. Farber, Granddaughter’s: Miranda, Ashley, Amber, Jennifer both of Sturgis, Michigan and Daniel S. (Rebecca) Farber, Granddaughter’s: Deedra A. (Braxton) Bercot, Great Grandchildren (Ethan and Chloe); Emily N. (Salvador) Arteaga, Great Grandchildren (Lillian and Lorenzo) and Grandson Rob M. of Decatur, Indiana; a sister, Gail (Craig) Moyer of Venice, Florida.

There will be no services held and burial will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, Florida at a later date.

Preferred memorials are to Adams County Animal Shelter or ASPCA.

Arrangements are by Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana.
