David L. Krick, 77, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at his residence
He was born on February 10, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana Rev. Elijah L. Krick Jr. and Tresea (Fry) Krick.
He was drafted in 1965 in the United States Army and served in Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1967.
Dave was united in marriage to Nancy Plumley on October 21, 1967, at East Liberty UB Church in Monroeville, Indiana.
He graduated from Monroeville High School class of 1964.
Dave was employed at All American Homes in Decatur, and Harvey Equipment in Van Wert, Ohio. He was a lifelong farmer in Allen County.
Dave was a devout Christian who had a passion for serving God. He cherished spending time with his family. He had a love for John Deere tractors, and collected John Deere collection model tractors and equipment. He also enjoyed puzzles, and circle word puzzles.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Krick of Monroeville, Indiana; daughter, Tresea (Gary) Holman of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Jeffrey David Krick of Monroeville, Indiana; three granddaughters, Chelsie (Holman) Roy, Shelby Holman, and Makalah Krick; and nine great-grandchildren.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Rose (Knittle) Plumley.
Honoring Dave’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
Preferred memorials can be given to Cornerstone Community Church in Leo, Indiana and can be mailed to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur (520 N. 2nd St. Decatur, Indiana 46733)
