Cynthia A. Arnold

Cynthia A. “Cindy” Arnold, 73, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Tuesday evening, October 22, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on March 18, 1951, in Decatur, Indiana to Gerald and Lois (Werling) Gehrig. Cindy was united in marriage to Ronald Arnold on June 14, 1969, at Zion United Church of Christ.

Cindy graduated from Bellmont High School in 1969 and faithfully served her family as a homemaker. Additionally, Cindy spent many years as a foster mom.

She enjoyed gardening, antiques, and keeping house.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Ron Arnold of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Christie (Dan) Beer of Decatur, Indiana; son, John Arnold of Decatur, Indiana; son, Chet Arnold of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Angie Arnold of Decatur, Indiana; her parents, Gerald & Lois Gehrig of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Randy (Jill) Gehrig of Angola, Indiana; and three grandchildren, Reggie Beer, Audrey (Jesse) Franck and Quincy Beer.

In honoring Cindy’s wishes, private family services will be held.

Preferred memorials can be given to Heart to Heart Hospice.
