Connie E. Weaver

Connie E. Weaver, 80, of Decatur, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice Home, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on August 3, 1944, in Decatur Indiana to the late Harold and Florence (Beougher) Fast. Connie was united in marriage to Larry Weaver on June 28 1964 at Union Chapel United Methodist Church. They were married 60 years before Connie’s passing.

Connie was born and raised in Union Chapel United Methodist Church where she continued to be a lifetime member.

She graduated from Cosmetology School, and was owner/operator of Hair Dimension in Decatur for 40 years. Connie was the second biggest Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed visiting Graceland Mansion with Larry. She was also an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Weaver of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Dorothy Brown of Ohio City, Ohio; brother, Melvin Fast of Decatur, Indiana; brother-in-law, Lee Wolfe of Pleasant Mills, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Wolfe and Carolyn (Bill) McCullough; brother, Marvin Fast; brother-in-law, Pete Brown; and sister-in-law, Colleen Fast.

A private memorial service will be held. Burial will be at the Backesto Cemetery at a later date.

Preferred memorials can be given to Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital and can be mailed to the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
