Colletta C. Woodall, 70, of Van Wert, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Vancrest in Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born on October 16, 1953, in Decatur, Indiana to the late James Young and the late Rosalie (Stetler) Young. She was united in marriage to William J. “Woody” Woodall on September 20, 1975, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2010.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Homer Pierson Post 207 in Willshire, Ohio.
Colletta was a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved Kentucky, Alabama and country music.
Survivors include her son, James “Clay” (Andrea) Woodall of Easley, South Carolina; two sisters, Vendetta (Craig) Gutshall of Huntington, Indiana and Donnetta Brite of Decatur, Indiana; two brothers, James (Robin) Young of Van Wert, Ohio and Calvin (Barb) Young of Rockford, Ohio; brother-in-law, Bobby (Brenda) Woodall of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; three grandchildren, McCade Harner, Haylee Woodall, and Laynee Woodall; one great-grandson, Dexten Harner; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Woodall.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Bales Hill in Livingston, Kentucky.
Family and friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana
Preferred memorials are to Community Health Professionals Hospice or Willshire American Legion Auxiliary.
