Catherine M. Nichter

Catherine M. Nichter, 67, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Thursday evening, May 12, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on September 12, 1954 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Delbert R. Rhymer and Delphina (Lovins) Rhymer.

Catherine is survived by three sons, Bobby Busz of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Adam (Carrie) Nichter of Monroeville, Indiana, and Chris Nichter of Monroeville, Indiana; two daughters, Amy (fiancé Chris Hart) Nichter of Monroeville, Indiana and Danyel (fiancé Justin Joseph) Nichter of Monroeville, Indiana; sister, Nancy Vaught of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Delbert Rhymer Jr. of LaOtto, Indiana; granddaughter, Aria Delphina-May Joseph; and grandson, Devin Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Susan Rhymer; and a brother, Michael Rhymer.

Friends and family will be received from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana. Interment will take place at a later date at Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
