Brice Leon Lehman, 66, of Keystone, Indiana passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Indiana. His death was VERY unexpected.
He was born on December 31, 1953, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Orlando Lehman and the late Violet Rose (Augsburger) Lehman. He united in marriage to Jeanette Smith on May 25, 1979 in Berne, Indiana.
Brice was retired after 45 years from two companies in Berne.
He greatly enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. They would watch football, basketball, NASCAR, and an occasional golf match. Being in a secluded country setting was very important to Brice and Jan. Cookouts for the family created some of the memorable experiences. Brice had a contagious laugh, smile and humor will be missed. The family always enjoyed and looked forward to going to Grandpa Brice’s and Grandma Jan’s house in the summer with all the cousins. Swimming and fishing in the pond, golf cart rides through the woods, feeding the pig (Indy), outdoor games and getting our bellies full with Grandpa’s amazing chicken he would grill and all the other goodies.
Brice is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jan Lehman of Keystone, Indiana; daughter, Tara (Roger) Steffen of Berne, Indiana; daughter, Tawnya Lehman of Berne, Indiana; son, Todd (Leah) Lehman of Berne, Indiana; brother, Norval (Donna) Lehman of Berne, Indiana; sister, Anita Bertch of Bluffton, Indiana; sister, Marge (Jim) Gehman of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Private family services will be held.
