Rev. Brice E. Fennig, 88, Berne, former Indianapolis resident passed away suddenly at Swiss Village on Thursday, 23, 2017. He was born on May 14, 1929 near Antivile in Jay County , IN to Fredrick and Cora Yoss Fennig. The family faithfuly attended the First Missionary Church, Berne. He attended the Linn Grove School through the 6th grade and graduated, as valedictorian , from Berne High School in 1947. Brice attended Taylor University and graduated from Bob Jones University in 1951.

He married DeLora Graber on August 27, 1950.

Brice pastored Brighton Chapel in LaGrange County, IN. before joining Youth for Christ. He ministered in Rockford, IL. for 8 years before moving to Indianapolis where he was Executive
Director of Indianapolis Youth for Christ for 27 years. He then pastored Canaan Community Church near Heritage Lake in Puntnam County, IN for the next 15 years. He served as Executive Director of International Christian Visual Media from 1990 to 2012.

He and DeLora returned to their home town and had been residing in Swiss Village since 2004.

Survivors include his wife, DeLora, sons, Gregory(Donna)Fennig of Greenwood, IN, Richard(Robin)Fennig of Foley, AL., daughter, Kathy Ann(John)Tucker of South Haven, Miss., 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding in death are his parents, brothers, Martel, Leon, Ernest, & sister Corrine Steury.

Funeral services on Tuesday, November 28 at 4:00 pm at the Swiss Village Auditorium with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Officiating are pastors Rick Fennig and John Tucker. A private family burial will be at the MRE Cemetery, Berne.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Swiss Village Samaritan Fund &/or Agape Respite Care.
