Braiden Michael Shaw

Braiden Michael Shaw, 23, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on March 25, 2000 in Bluffton, Indiana to Richard J. Shaw and Chantel (Ogg) Langston.

Braiden was an avid Chicago Bears fan, who loved watching the games and following his favorite team.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.  Braiden had a great sense of humor, a huge heart for others and loved kids.

Survivors include his mother, Chantel (Zach Moser) Langston of Decatur, Indiana; father, Richard J. (Amanda) Shaw of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Zach Wilson of Decatur, Indiana; two sisters, Madilyn and Caitlyn Langston both of Decatur, Indiana; and maternal grandparents, Mary & Neil Ogg of Decatur, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Shaw.

In honoring Braiden’s wishes, there will be no public funeral service.

Preferred memorials can be given to Riley Children’s Hospital.
