Blaine L. Miller, 82, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Decatur, Indiana.
He was born on July 14, 1942 in Evans City, Pennsylvania to the late John Ernest and Eva Jane (Rape) Miller.
Blaine was in in the Army National Guard.
Blaine was united in marriage to Sally Burk on January 13, 1967 in Mercer County Pennsylvania, and she survives.
He worked for International Harvester for over 30 years. He then went to work for J-MAR Trucking, from where he retired in 2004.
Blaine enjoyed driving race cars in his younger years, and his love of cars continued his entire life. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. He also enjoyed a good game of golf, and even had a hole in one to his credit. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Miller of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Raylene Pollio of Louisville, Kentucky; son, Rick (Jeanel) Ross of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Michele (Mike) Shaffer of Decatur, Indiana; son, Shane (Crystal) Miller of Fisherville, Kentucky; son, Ryan Miller of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Mark (Audra) Miller of Evans City, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren, Jade, Claire, John Michael, Cassie, Cortnie, Connor, Carson, Carter, Brandyn, Brant, Baylen, Mindy, Duncan, and Justin; thirteen great-grandchildren, Caleb, Preston, Rhett, Linus, Clark, Mia, Ellie, Haylen, Cayden, Riley, Logan, Aria, and one on the way; and one great-great-grandchild, Oliver.
In addition to his parents, Blaine was preceded in death by his son, Blaine Alan Miller; his sister, Karen Sheller; and his son-in-law, John Pollio.
