On Friday, November 3, the Lord of Life blessed Tony with a holy death at the age of 37 years, when he fell asleep in Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead. Mere moments before his blessed death, Tony received Holy Absolution and the apostolic custom of anointing with oil, reminding Tony and his loved ones of the grace of God given by the Holy Spirit in Holy Baptism. In His infinite wisdom and merciful timing, the Lord Jesus Christ called Tony, surrounded by his beloved family, unto Himself as the words of Simeon's song, the Nunc Dimittis, were prayed with holy hands laid upon Tony's head. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
Tony was born January 9, 1986, in Bluffton, Indiana to Matthew A. Feipel and Laurie K. (Wyss) Feipel.
He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Hessen Cassel in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and more recently a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen.
Tony was employed by Amazon.
A die-hard fan of the Bears and Notre Dame football, Tony was often found cheering on his teams, sharing his passion and enthusiasm with those around him. Also, he had a love for volleyball and enjoyed playing with family and friends and collected several championship t-shirts. Tony enjoyed collecting bourbon with his brothers. He was a man of faith, which guided him throughout his life. He found solace and strength in his beliefs. Tony was a loving, friendly, and courageous individual. His smile could light up a room, and his laughter was contagious. He had a knack for making people feel special and valued, a testament to his caring nature and strong compassion for others. His sense of humor, often dry and always on point, was a constant source of joy and laughter for those around him. He was looked up to by many, and earned the title of favorite uncle. His love for family ran deep.
