Angelita A. Buettner

Angelita A. Buettner, 75, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Thursday morning, December 21, 2023, at Adams Woodcrest.

She was born on May 26, 1948 in Crystal City, Texas to Jesus Z. Serna Jr. and Eulogia “Logie” (Aldape) Serna.  On May 6, 1977, Angelita married Roger L. Buettner in Decatur, Indiana.

Angelita worked at General Electric for 20 years.

She enjoyed staying at home, watching scary movies and needle point.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Buettner of Decatur, Indiana; four brothers, Jesse (Clara) Serna III of Decatur, Indiana, Dan Serna of Decatur, Indiana, John (Cheryl) Serna of Decatur, Indiana, and Arthur (Becky) Serna of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a sister, Diana Sanner of Decatur, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Martha Serna.

To honor Angelita’s wishes, there will be no services held.
