Alan Michael Grabner

Alan Michael Grabner, 74, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away Saturday afternoon, November 16, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on October 19, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Charles B. and Lavonna Irene (Hartman) Grabner. Mike was united in marriage on August 8, 1970, to Pamela Beck in Tocsin, Indiana. 

Mike was a volunteer firefighter with the Monroeville Fire Department for 10 years. 

He was employed for BF Goodrich Tire Company in Woodburn, Indiana for 36 years before retiring.

Mike liked to collect gems and minerals and was a member of the 3 Rivers Gem and Mineral Society in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mike loved fishing in his spare time. 

Mike is survived by his wife, Pamela Grabner of Monroeville, Indiana; daughter, Jody (Barry) Warstler of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Mike (Jaime) Grabner of Auburn, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Cierra Warstler, Hannah Warstler, Dylan Grabner, Nathan Grabner, and Jordyn Grabner.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Grabner.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating, Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Preferred memorials can be given to the Monroeville Fire Department or the Monroeville EMS.
